What is Sporting Clays?

Sporting clays simulate real hunting situations. Walking from station to station on a specially designed course, participants move through different types of terrain, shooting at 50 to 100 clay targets thrown to imitate the action of ducks, pheasants, rabbits and other game. Every sporting clays course is different. Clay targets come in a variety of shapes and sizes, flying, flushing and hopping just like the real thing.
