Guns Manager, Jay's Clare

From a very young age Jeania was introduced to the outdoors. Whether it was fishing or hunting with her family, farming, or just enjoying the splendor that the outdoors has to offer. Jeania recalls setting on a bucket rabbit hunting with her dad, being told to be very quite, or fishing with her sister and kicking stones off the bridge. As she matured the ethics of hunting became more clear. While her friends were reading all those glamour magazines Jeania was reading about guns and hunting. Jeania has been an avid bow and rifle hunter since she was old enough. She has also acquired the sport of turkey, upland and waterfowl hunting. Jeania also enjoys shooting sporting clays which her colleagues don't care to shoot against! Being a life long resident of Clare Jeania recalls visiting Jay's on Fifth Street. Who would have ever thought that someday she would be employed by Jay's. Jeania has been employed with Jay's since 1985. Working in every department until finding her permanent home as the gun department manager.

Jeania enjoys working with her team mates and finds that her department’s success develops from a team effort of giving our customers that family atmosphere and personal touch. Every chance Jeania gets she has training sessions with her staff and manufacturer reps. This is an excellent way to learn about the product we are selling. Jeania's two daughters became involved with shooting sports when they were very young. Jeania finds it very important to teach her children the hunting tradition which has been carried throughout her family. Jeania believes in the expression "If you hunt with your kids you won't be hunting for them."
