Kerrie's first turkey in her first year of hunting the elusive birds, taken on Wed. April19th, 2006 at 5:02pm. Guide Kevin Charron did the calling, but the bird came in quiet. Shot was 40 yards with a Mossburg 500 using a 3" Federal flight control #5 shot. The bird weighed 20 lbs. with a 9 1/2 inch beard and 1 1/4 inch spurs.

Kevin Charron's bird was taken on the first day of the 2006 season...April 17th at 10:03am it came in with another mature tom and was shot at 16 yards with a Mossberg 500 using a Federal flight control 3 inch #4. Final tally; 23 lbs. 10" beard with 1 1/2and 1 7/16 inch spurs.
